Equipment Description

The system is having double skin floor mounted Air Handling Unit. The AHU is having inner skin is of 0.6 mm Plain G.I. and outer skin is of 0.6 mm Powder coated G.I/PPGI. and insulated with Polyurethane.

The system is having double skin floor mounted draw through air handling unit, and comprises of the following sections:

The system is designed to supply Clean Air of required quantity and air changes to the rooms identified in Clean Room. The Diffuser at the inlets to the Classified Area Rooms are connected by GI ducting.

Pre-filters for filtering 10 micron and larger particles are installed in the AHU Before the blower and then 5 micron filters also installed in the AHU before the blower. The blower draws 10% of its capacity as fresh air from the atmosphere whereas rest of the air is re-circulated from the Clean Rooms. After 10 micron & 5 micron filtration, this air is discharged to the rooms through the HEPA. HEPA are installed at the top of the clean room panels. HEPA air gets distributed in the room. After filling the room, this air is taken back to the AHU through Return Air ducts. Return air is picked up from the Return air duct through powder coated grilles.

BLOWER

The wheel of ADH series has forward curved blades manufactured in galvanized sheet steel. The wheels are specially profiled to obtain a maximum efficiency and low noise level.

The housing is manufactured in galvanized sheet steel with the housing fixed to the side plates by means of

“Electric spot welding”. A series of holes previously formed in the side plate enable the housing to mount in four different orientations. All the unused holes in the side plate are plugged with a plastic cap to prevent air leakage.

The frame is manufactured with galvanized angular bars. The frame is sheared, bent and spot welded in a way that ensures correct dimensions and also maximum rigidity.

Shafts are manufactured from C45 carbon steel using an automatic process for positioning and cutting of the keyways. All dimensional tolerances of the shaft are fully checked to ensure a precision fit and then coated with an anti-corrosion varnish after assembly.

All bearings used are deep groove ball type sealed at both sides. The bearings are self-aligning with an eccentric locking collar for clamping onto the shaft and are mounted in rubber housing. All the bearings are lubricated for life and maintenance-free under normal operating conditions.

All wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to ISO1940 and AMCA 204 – G2.5 standards.

All fans after assembly are trim-balanced to ISO1940 and AMCA 204 – G2.5 standard.

The 10µ filters are made of washable synthetic type media having galvanized frame. Filter section is designed for easy removal and re-fixing of the filters after cleaning. Filter framework is fully sealed and construction made of G.S.S. Minimum filtration efficiency of 90% down to 10 micron particle size.

The 5 micron filters are made of washable synthetic media with an efficiency of 95%. Filter banks are easily accessible and designed for easy removal and re-fixing of the filters after cleaning. Filter framework is fully sealed and construction made of G.S.S. The media is pleated and installed in a GSS frame inside the AHU.
